The Spoon River Poetry Review is published twice a year by the Spoon River Poetry Association. The editors read submissions of fine poetry from all over the nation and world from September 15 to April 15 each year. Manuscripts postmarked between April 16 and September 14 are returned unread. Send 3-5 poems to the address below. Submissions to the SRPR Illinois Poet feature should contain 12-18 pages of mostly unpublished poems by poets who have an Illinois connection. Reviews of contemporary poetry and poetic theory should address texts and issues in a balanced and intelligent way. All submissions should be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope and addressed to: The Spoon River Poetry Review, 4241 English Department, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois 61790-4241.
