I've taught writing for over 25 years: to prisoners, the elderly, literary and literacy groups, Chicago schoolchildren and teachers, and to graduate and undergraduate students, most recently in the MFA in Writing program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I was the inaugural Chair and and an Associate Professor.
